Position Summary
The role of the Communications Manager is to help plan, execute, and finalize both internal and external communications for a corporate client located in New York, NY. This includes ensuring employees are kept informed and motivated, as well as communicating with external stakeholders by way of email, newsletters, social media, etc. This 40 hour a week opportunity could start immediately, and be an ongoing contract.

Responsibilities
-Ensure internal communication messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization
-Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums
-Use social media to communication with staff internally
-Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations promptly
-Deliver presentations at organizational events
-Manage external communications output
-Work with media outlets to publish timely company information, such as press releases, brochures, and other materials
-Produce and publish mass communications with email blasts and marketing campaigns
-Document presence of companies at events, conferences, and speaking engagements
-Publish videos and photography on company website and blogs
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities
-Degree in Marketing or Communications
-Strong stakeholder management and networking skills
-Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate complex information accurately
-Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
