Description

The TaskUs Content Security Practice works closely with the most innovative social platform companies in the world and is dedicated to two things: making the internet a safer place for users, and ensuring people working on the frontline of Content Moderation (CoMo) remain safe and are empowered for success.

We are looking for a Director, CoMo Tools & Innovation with a track record of bringing technical assets to market, and deep working knowledge of online trust & safety, content moderation, or scaled policy enforcement.

In this role, you will partner with experts in emerging technology fields, both within our company and the wider ecosystem, with the goal of delivering cutting edge innovations and solutions to service TaskUs and our clients.

You will be responsible for bridging the gap between client needs, internal operational challenges, and the wider technological landscape to make the case for new TaskUs tools, innovations, and services in the Content Moderation space. These assets may take the form of offerings, software, and partnerships but may also include process enhancements to increase efficiency and improve the agent experience.

We need someone who can pull together conflicting and often-changing information and operate with precision in a working environment that is open, distributed and interactive. This will demand outside-the-box thinking, an entrepreneurial approach, and comfort working in the grey to disambiguate and solve open-ended problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects that draw resources from multidisciplinary teams to design, build and deliver tool, innovations and other reusable assets within the Content Security portfolio to drive measurable value for TaskUs and our clients.
  • Identify opportunities to create reusable MVP assets, and conduct pilots to test the efficacy of these assets. You will then work with technical and operational partners to ensure a successful transfer of assets into production.
  • Take both an inside-out and outside-in approach to innovation, understanding TaskUs’’ needs by partnering with subject matter experts and studying our operations. You will map your insights to broader industry needs by tracking client priorities, competitor dynamics, startup ecosystem trends, and current events.
  • Practice effective stakeholder management to track project timelines, resourcing, and costs. Identify any risks and their impact on existing commitments, and present options for mitigating these risks.
  • Present complex technical ideas and projects to senior client executives, and external partners in a clear, simple, authoritative, and compelling manner.
  • Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, product management or large-program management
  • Deep working knowledge of online trust & safety, content moderation, or scaled policy enforcement.
  • Strong working knowledge of product management techniques, including the flexible application of Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrable track record with bringing new products, services, and assets to market
  • BPO and/or vendor ecosystem experience highly desirable.
  • Experience working across a global multicultural and multilingual team, tackling ambiguous problems and designing scaled solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • 50-75% time availability to travel globally
