Accounting detail oriented who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. What you get to do every single day

- Work on special projects occasionally

- Report business license and gross receipts

- File cash flow projections, as needed

- Create cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

- Experience with Accounts Receivable

- Credit Card management and reconciliation

- Enter budget transfers

- Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

- Guide monthly accounting close

- Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

- Keep a check on Accounts Payable

- Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

- Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

- QuickBooks experience desired

- Proven knowledge of account reconciliation

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Expertise in Microsoft Excel

- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

- Strong organization skills

- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

- Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

- 5+ years of related experience
