Credit Risk Management (WCR) is responsible for lending activities and other
counterparty related credit exposures. The group is based on Plano, TX, and the
teams are aligned by industry. Wholesale Credit Risk Managers lead the client
credit relationship in partnership with Coverage and Product business

Risk Team manages exposure to a primarily investment-grade client base
consisting of super-regional, multistate, and single state banks, credit card
processors, and public finance clients (including healthcare, higher education
and non-profit entities).
Responsibilities include diligence, structuring, approval, risk grading,
and the on-going monitoring and management of a diverse and complex portfolio
of risk, taxable and tax-exempt credit structures, extensive derivatives and
securities trading relationships, intraday liquidity facilities, and other
traditional credit products. The
Associate is expected to effectively handle a portfolio of clients within the financial
institution and public finance sector, responding to their credit needs, while
providing sound judgement and effective monitoring through collaboration across
all Risk and Business levels.

Manage the daily risk demands of a portfolio of
clients, evaluating and executing on a variety of transactions for banks and
public finance entities
Work directly on transactions including analysis of
client and preparation of credit materials, discussions with bankers,
negotiating of legal documentation, setup of facilities, coordinating with
middle office teams and ongoing monitoring of clients post transaction
Build strong relationships and maintain open
communication channels with colleagues across the firm, including Bankers,
Operations, Legal, Middle Office, Finance, etc.
Track the clients on an ongoing basis and update key
stakeholders on key developments with regards to clients or industry and
potential impact on credit rating
Keep abreast of changing legislation, governmental
actions and economic trends that impact banking clients, and various US Government,
and Municipal and Not-For-Profit sectors and clients.

maintain updated credit assessments on a large portfolio of existing

4 5 years professional work experience in financial
services preferred (investment banking or similar)
Possesses a solid understanding of financial products
and market dynamics
Knowledge/experience of derivative products and
documentation (including ISDA and CSA)
Experience with loan structuring and documentation
including trade finance is a plus
Experience with structures and documentation for
tax-exempt financing
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Ability to effectively present analysis and interact
with key stakeholders
Capability to perform due diligence and negotiation
with clients
Deadline orientation; close attention to detail and
accuracy; ability to perform under pressure
Ability to work proactively & independently as well
as in a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build
relationships with key stakeholders across lines of business
