As an experienced Infrastructure Support professional, your relentless dedication to innovation will have a positive ripple effect on both innovation and the people who make it. You ll put your experience to work across the board, leading an incredibly talented team in areas like Change Management, Incident and Problem Management. You ll be responsible for management communication and client relationship management. You ll use your critical thinking skills to establish the team s functional goals and set priorities and objectives that align with our overall strategy. You ll oversee areas like incident management, change management, impact identification, management communication, Risk and Controls, client relationship management, service improvement, discovery/gathering/documenting of business needs and data and requirements. You ll coach, manage and mentor people, both in-house and in working collaboration with our talented and dedicated problem-solving technologists across the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global network. The
Infrastructure Portfolio Management team partners across our Project,
Application, Finance, Technology & Risk teams giving a holistic view and
proactive approach to the Infrastructure Portfolio building strong working
relationships with clients and businesses to effectively provide end to end
infrastructure services. This is a
CTO/Product aligned role responsible for running an efficient and secure
infrastructure technology footprint.
Key responsibilities:End to End Infrastructure Portfolio ManagementSingle point of contact for CTO s and Application Owners for all their infrastructure needsCTO / Product aligned to streamline communications, engagement and cultivate collaborationProvides end-to-end planning, execution and status of key Investment, Technology Refresh, Firmwide, Application Modernization, and Cyber Risk & Controls projects and programsManages & reports status of prioritized Book of WorkProject Prioritization and re-prioritization taking budget into consideration on initiatives not in current year budget/planDrive Production Engineering & Automation Initiatives into CTO towersUnderstand friction points and facilitate roadblock removalLead Partnership Meetings across Infrastructure Production Management and Line of Business CTO/Application owner teamsFaces off with Global Technology Brokerage, Provisioning and Network teamsCoordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projectsDemand Management Lead portfolio/project pre-planning activitiesOperates with Product Owners & Architects to provide a list of priorities requiring planning and execution Drive Prioritization and labor commitment effortsRoadmap / Business Case ReviewsOwnership of Portfolio reporting by CTO with key project risks and blockersFinancial Management Partners with Finance to define the annual labor and infrastructure budgetReview budgets with CTO s and Roadmap owners and refineMonitor change impacts to budget while providing monthly reconciliation of actuals against budgeted planIdentify and drive technology efficiency savings opportunities, partnering with application owners, to run an efficient and cost effective technology footprint Production/Problem Management In conjunction with Production Operations, capture trends and statistics on impacts to the application space to determine opportunities for PE-SRE evaluations and enhancements to the environment.Review top impacting incidents and resolution in CTO Partnership meetings including Root Cause Analysis (RCA s) and any Process Improvement recommendationsReview capacity management telemetry and drive proactive remediation actions as required Lifecycle Management and Hygiene Plans and manages the Inventory/LifeCycle Management processCoaching and training on inventory management systems of recordThis role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experienceExperience in service, functional area or Infrastructure supported and inter dependenciesTechnological, Organizational and/or Operational Change ManagementAdvanced knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are metAbility to set and drive the business' strategic direction to deliver technology that meets internal and external needsKnowledge of financial control and budget managementExecutive level and mature understanding of IT Service and Delivery Management principles with a proven track record of delivering results and introducing practical project management techniques to programsResolve Team ConflictsProvide leadership for key project initiativesAbility to lead initiatives/change across a large, complex, geographical diverse environmentComfort in fast-paced customer focused organizations with consistent process/organization changes/improvementsExcellent written and verbal communicationEffective interpersonal skills including consensus building and facilitation skillsHighly motivated and self-starterExperience within a development environmentExhibit confidence communicating and interacting with senior executive management7+ years experience in a large scale technology organization, preferably Financial ServicesProven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiativesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations and to interact effectively with peers and management across diverse culturesExperience with agile methodologies including Kanban and Scrum Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities and non-profits.
