Global Information Management
Global Information Management - JPMorgan is obligated to retain
and manage information in compliance with legal, regulatory and business
requirements. Global Information Management (GIM) is an operational
risk/compliance function that is responsible for leading strategic development
of global priorities related to the management of records and data for the
firm. The GIM organization is accountable for governance and oversight of the
record/data information risks faced by the firm through advising and
challenging current and future practices related to the management of records
and data.
Role Overview:
The Associate role will be responsible for supporting the Records
Management team within the Firmwide Global Information Management Program. The role will represent Compliance in its 2nd
Line of Defense role to identify Records Management risk and provide Records
Management guidance to the businesses initiatives and related projects across
the company relating to Records Management. The ideal candidate must have
Records Management knowledge and experience.
Key
responsibilities:
Support Vice President in development
and execution of the Records Management team operating model Use specialist Records Management
knowledge and experience to support VP Records Management write and develop
Records Management testing guidance Act as a Records Management Subject
Matter Expert in GIM testing and Monitoring activitiesProactively identify records management risk
and opportunities to mitigateResearch records management industry best
practices and determine applicability to the Firm, with a particular focus on existing
digital and emerging technologiesWrite and develop Records Management related
guidance and best practice documentation using your records management subject
matter expertise. Support the development of training and
awareness materials, providing Records Management expertise. Review GIM program policies, standards and
practicesAssist in the preparation for committees,
forums and working group sessionsPrepare presentations and reportsCreate business support tools such as;
templates, forms, FAQsDefine and complete project
deliverables on time

Experienced and knowledgeable in the field of
Records ManagementAware of electronic records management
requirementsUnderstanding of regulatory and compliance
environmentIndependent thinker who is personally
accountable for resultsOrganized with good prioritization skills,
able to juggle priorities to meet immediate deadlines while also ensuring that
longer-term projects are completedExperience establishing and meeting goals,
tracking and driving enhancement opportunities, and presenting progress of the
same to managementExcellent comprehension and writing skills to
create documentation and materialsA problem solver able to analyze business
issues and recommend solutions A good communicator who is able to articulate
ideas and represent these effectively to managementA strong team player, committed to delivering
to high standards Highly organized, extremely detailed and
control orientedQualifications
Bachelor s degree in business, computer
science or related discipline or equivalentWork experience related to Records and
Information Management Exposure to a Compliance and Risk environment preferredCertification in Records Management (e.g.,
