The CB Learning team trains ~2,400 employees annually within the Commercial Bank on introductory, intermediate and advanced commercial banking, credit and lending topics - which includes, but is not limited to, introductory and intermediate accounting, corporate lending, corporate financial statement and credit analysis, asset and collateral analysis, free cash flow analysis, business, industry and management analysis, risk rating and loss given default assessment, corporate credit structuring and financial modeling and forecasting.A Typical Day Could Include:Designing and delivering content within multiple training programs across numerous platforms while playing an integral role in supporting the business achieve its long-term strategic goals Developing content on Commercial Banking credit risk, lending and underwriting topics such as accounting, corporate lending, financial statement analysis, risk rating and loss given default assessment, profitability, financial modeling, etc.Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of training programs including: facilitation and instruction of course material; communication and registration; ownership of roster, agendas and calendars; refreshing program content and casework; organizing logistics; completing performance management and evaluationsCultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the Commercial Bank to ensure curriculum supports the overall strategic prioritiesCreating assessments and other evaluation tools to measure success of participants and training programsCollaborating with senior leaders across the firm, the CB Learning team and the larger CB HR teamMentoring and developing training participants Requirements:Bachelor's degree - preferred, preferably in business finance, accounting, or economicsCompletion of formal Commercial Banking credit training program and/or equivalent commercial banking credit experience Minimum of 3 - 5 years of Commercial Banking and/or Commercial Banking credit experience including strong knowledge base of commercial and corporate lending, underwriting, loan structuring, and management of commercial and corporate credit relationshipsStrong understanding of introductory and intermediate accounting concepts, financial statement and credit analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral and asset analysis, risk rating and loss given default assessment, corporate loan structuring, financial modeling and forecasting, and commercial banking productsRequired SkillsExperience with the Commercial Bank s financial and profitability models highly desiredComfort and/or experience instructing and presenting to large audiencesAptitude to manage and prioritize multiple programs and projects independentlyExcellent communication skills, both written and oral, and a keen attention to detailStrong relationship building skills and ability to regularly interact with executives and senior leaders *Travel - Up to 5-10%
