The Corporate Sector, with an annual
operating expense budget of over $10B and headcount of more than 35,000, is
managed in two groups: CTC (the Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Private
Investments), and Other Corporate (all other functions). The responsibilities
below pertain to Other Corporate only.
The Corporate Sector Finance &
Business Management ( CS F&BM ) group provides financial management,
business management and reporting support for multiple Corporate functions,
including Enterprise Technology, Global Real Estate, Risk, Compliance, Finance,
Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Responsibility, Audit, Executive and other
staff and corporate-aligned areas.
The Corporate Sector Planning &
Analysis (P&A) team is a centralized team that partners across the firm,
supports functional CFOs in the 30+ corporate functions that span the Firm and
senior management. The team coordinates across all Corporate Sector teams and
has direct interaction with Firm-wide P&A, Investor Relations, Regulatory
Capital Management Office, Resolution & Recovery, Corporate Financial
Reporting and the Global Finance & Business Management organization among
other groups. The team consists of approximately 80 people, across locations in
Jersey City, Columbus, Plano and Mumbai.
The Central P&A team is an
integral part of the CS F&BM group responsible for a wide-range of
deliverables including Allocations, Analytics, Initiatives and Firm-wide
consolidation activities that support the team s ability tell an insightful,
holistic story. The team is a specialized function within Corporate Sector
P&A which provides operational support, guidance, and oversight for the
end-to-end expense allocation process. The team is comprised of Finance
professionals in the United States and India who collaborate across the
Corporate Sector to develop allocation strategies. Those strategies are then
implemented via SAP-CO to distribute expenses out to the lines of business via
business drivers and various methodologies. In addition to operational
activities, the team conducts ongoing and ad-hoc analytics of allocated
expenses and drivers.
Reporting to the Vice President of
Financial Analysis & Business Management, the Senior Associate will be part
of the Corporate Sector Central planning & analytics team and responsible
for developing analytical capabilities, supporting ad-hoc initiatives and
building management presentations on a wide range of topics. Responsibilities
will also include monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis in
collaboration with Corporate Sector functions and LOB Finance teams. The individual will also have the opportunity
to drive value-added change by helping to simplify processes, implement
automation, and enhance analytics and customer support to the lines of
business. The support will be tailored
to senior leaders throughout the firm; therefore this person must be
comfortable working in a fast paced environment and with evolving priorities.

This role will manage and engage in the following activities:
Contribute
directly and/or collaborate on several high-exposure initiatives through
the simplification of key processes, enhancement of analytics &
reporting and implementation of automated solutions.Development
and implementation of IT based solutions to automate processes, deliver
efficiencies and enhance reporting with a focus on Allocations and
Analytics in Central P&A.Serve
as a liaison between the developers / technical teams across the firm
(SAPCO team, Dashboards CoE, Robotics) and key internal clients (Corporate
Sector functional teams, Lines of Business).Collaborate
with business partners across Corporate Sector P&A, Lines of Business
and the organization to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery
of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives.Produce
presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients
including senior management; participate and support ad-hoc special
projects and requests as needed.Build
and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders:
Firm-wide, Functional Finance and Lines of Business teams.
Qualifications
BA/BS
in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CFA, CPA, MBA a plus) with 5+ years of
relevant experience, preferably in financial services or in a FP&A
role in a large organizationStrong
project management skills with the ability to deliver on a deadline based
environment and interact with multiple partners, including senior
management.Strong technical and analytical skills,
including programming languages (SQL, VBA, etc.), databases &
visualization software (Alteryx, Tableau), Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
and Essbase.Partner with other team members to
implement automation strategies (dashboard automation, data processing, robotics,
etc.)The
candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced,
results driven environment Sound
