The Risk Project Services Team supports the Risk Organization with project/program management. Our
team is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst
(VP/Senior Associate) with extensive experience to drive change across
the Risk Organization that aims to improve operational efficiency and
effectiveness and manage technology enhancements. You
will play a key role managing projects and leading business analysis to
support mission critical strategic transformation initiatives. Your
primarily focus will be on Market Risk Reporting and Middle Office
Functions, though broader Risk functions will be included. Key responsibilities: - E2E Project Management and act as a point of contact for Projects across the Risk function - Adheres to Risk Project Services standards, documentation and reporting requirements. - Understanding of the Finance and Risk processes and technologies. - Lead team of BA s and delivery leads - Effective partnership with technology teams and business teams - Document current state and future state operating models - Embrace a control focused culture and have confidence in handling challenging stakeholders -
Work autonomously and demonstrate the ability to partner with multiple
stakeholders across the Bank (e.g. Product Control, Coverage, Risk
Controllers, Middle Offices, Compliance, Operations, Business Managers,
and Technology) -
Able to create effective governance / structure and coordinate the
project deliverables in order to meet objectives and milestones - Create and own end to end plans through the Project Life Cycle - Develop a strong understanding of the business and activities that we support - Potential to have to support regulatory requests - Potential to support Risk and Compliance innovation projects - Potential to lead Risk & Compliance Innovation projects -
Bachelor s Degree, or equivalent, in Business Administration,
Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. -
Project Manager accredited or experienced. Solid understanding and
planning skills in all aspects of the Business project lifecycle
including but not limited to project planning, business requirements,
coordination of testing, tracking of issues, risks and dependencies. - Works effectively using both agile and traditional project management methodologies in a matrix environment. - Demonstrate innovative thinking that generates new ideas and be able to provide creative solutions to solve complex problems. - Excellent communication and organizational skills, in order to deliver structured, concise and logical communication -
Build effective partnerships and influencing skills, to achieve
critical and time pressured deliverables with multiple stakeholders,
whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality - Able to work under pressure and multi-task - Work proactively and independently as well as in a team environment - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively; develop strong partnerships with all levels of employees - Strong qualitative analytical skills with attention to details and problem solving skills - Control focus and mindset at all times, whilst respectively challenging the status quo - Strong knowledge of Visio/Signavio, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Jira and Confluence - Team management and problem solving
