    Responsibilities

    You will lead production of program-specific intelligence products. You will serve as the activity representative on certain collection programs at interagency and selective international meetings and conferences.     Conditions of Employment

    Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. This position requires a periodic polygraph examination. This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field Life Cycle Logistics Level 1. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GG/GS-12 level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: 1) Leveraging analytical and target area expertise to facilitate an understanding of operational requirements between operators, intelligence information consumers, and acquisition support personnel; 2) Assessing intelligence products and extracting significant data pertaining to collection requirements; 3) Participating in periodic intelligence program reviews to determine status of funding, schedules and objectives ; 4) Liaison with internal and external intelligence agencies, laboratories, operational forces, and partner nations as appropriate to discuss collection requirements and projects.
